OUR STORY
The story of Red Raven begins in 2019 in Sounio, when two friends lose their expensive glasses while canoeing in the sea.
This fortuitous incident was the starting point of a quest: "Why are high-end sunglasses so expensive?"
We tried contacting various manufacturers, facing countless difficulties and rejections. Many considered our idea too ambitious or even unattainable.
But our belief in the vision made us continue and find partners who share our values and dream.
Thus, Red Raven was born. From an idea and from our passion and desire to offer high quality sunglasses that will be affordable for everyone.

OUR MATERIALS
OUR LENSES
Equipped with the best CR-39 lenses on the marke made of CR-39 - Red Raven sunglasses provide the highest degree of protection (UV400) and excellent durability.
CR-39 is the material that has the highest Abbe Value of all solar lens manufacturing materials.
The higher the Abbe Value of the solar lens, the less chromatic aberration it has.
They also have Polarized coating and are up to 10 times more durable and safer than plastic or ordinary lenses on the market.
OUR FRAMES
At Red Raven, we take great care in the materials we choose for our frames. One of the main materials we work with is Acetate.
Acetate is not a simple type of plastic. It is a luxurious, plant-based material produced from cotton and wood.
We choose Acetate for our glasses because of its high quality, durability, flexibility, but also its natural feel and the comfort it offers to the wearer.
Acetate is an environmentally friendly material, so in this way we are also proud to offer glasses that combine quality and environmental responsibility.
HIGH QUALITY 5-BARREL HINGES
We use 5-ply or 7-ply screws to hold the frames to the arms of our glasses, for more stability and comfort.
With these special screws, the arms of the glasses move easily and fit well on the face, reducing pressure and ensuring comfort when wearing them for a long time.
Also, the use of these screws helps to protect the glasses from damage and their durability over time.
