How did we start?
OUR STORY
The story of Red Raven begins in 2019 in Sounio , when two friends lose their expensive sunglasses while canoeing in the sea. This unexpected incident was the starting point of a quest: "Why are high-quality sunglasses so expensive?"
We tried to contact various manufacturers, facing countless difficulties and rejections. Many considered our idea to be overly ambitious or even unfeasible .
However, our belief in the vision made us continue and find partners who share our values and dream.
Thus, Red Raven was born. From an idea and from our passion and desire to offer high quality sunglasses that will at the same time be accessible to everyone.

Our lenses
Equipped with the best lenses on the market made of CR-39 - Red Raven sunglasses provide the highest degree of protection (UV400) and excellent durability.
CR-39 is the material that has the highest Abbe Value of all sunglass lens materials.
The higher the Abbe Value of the sun lens, the less chromatic aberration it has.
They also feature Polarized and Anti-Reflective coating and are up to 10 times more durable and safer than plastic or regular lenses on the market.
Our skeletons
At Red Raven , we place great importance on the materials we choose for our frames.
One of the main materials we work with is Acetate (Bone). Acetate is not a simple type of plastic. It is a luxurious , plant-based material produced from cotton and pine wood.
We choose Acetate for our glasses because of its high quality, durability, flexibility, as well as its natural feel and comfort it offers to the user.
Acetate is an environmentally friendly material, so in this way we are proud to offer glasses that combine quality and environmental responsibility.
HIGH QUALITY JOINT SCREWS
We use 5-ply or 7-ply screws to hold the frames to the arms of our glasses, for more stability and comfort.
With these special screws, the arms of the glasses move easily and adapt well to the face, reducing pressure and ensuring comfort when wearing them for a long time.
Also, using these screws helps protect the glasses from damage and increase their durability over time.
